Programs At Day By Day
Treatment Center
The
Center is a modern adult residential facility that is both safe
and secure and offers an intensive concentrated program of drug
and alcohol addiction recovery experiential and educational treatment.
Professional substance abuse and dual diagnosis counseling is augmented
by client regular participation in the traditional twelve step
programs of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics
Anonymous throughout treatment. Group and individual counseling
is provided by a multidisciplinary team of licensed, certified,
and qualified professionals, trained in area of gender specific
addiction treatment, using the latest techniques of group and individual
counseling, as well as long standing approaches to multicultural
issues. The team of specialists includes substance abuse counselors,
case managers, child and family therapists, job readiness counselors,
social workers, registered nurses, spiritual counselors, vocational
rehabilitation counselors, and HIV/STD counselors.

Two Levels of Care
>Day
By Day offers two levels of care utilizing guidelines developed by
the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). Topics
addressed and explored at each level include relapse prevention,
self-esteem, family dynamics, life-coping skills, communication skills,
drug-free recreation, spirituality and recovery maintenance

Residential Treatment-
Our
most intense level of care, this includes six days a week of
intensive 3-hour group followed by psycho-education and daily
attendance at an AA or NA meeting
- Intensive Outpatient
Groups- This level of care offers 3-hour group sessions
three times a week at the following times:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday- 8:45 am to
12:00pm/p>
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday- 8:45 am to 12:00pm
Monday, Tuesday and Friday- 5:45 pm to 9:00 pm
- Family Supports
Day By Day offers opportunities for therapeutic work with families
and friends of clients. For our Residential Program, Day
By Day offers a Saturday Morning Family Program and for our day
and evening groups it offers periodic opportunities for family
participation during regularly scheduled group sessions. Conjoint
counseling sessions with a counselor may be individually scheduled
for clients and their families, as well. Both the group
family sessions and conjoint sessions are designed to focus on
repairing the families of clients who have also been affected
by addiction.
- Facing the world Drug free -
Throughout
client treatment a qualified professional will assist the
client in preparing for his or her discharge. As clients
near the end of any given level of care, multidisciplinary
discharge planning focuses on safe, appropriate follow-up care
and placement for maximum outcomes and continued recovery support
through a network of resources throughout the community.
