Day By Day Treatment Center opened in 1974, responding to community needs in the area of chemical addiction treatment and recovery.  Its mission has always included the provision of an organizational structure conducive to high quality care. 

It was named “Outstanding Treatment Program of the Year 2002” by the Addiction Professionals of North Carolina.  Its philosophy is built around a belief in the dignity of each individual and the use of time and research-tested models of treatment.  Self-responsibility and direction are emphasized as efforts are made to balance both those things that are important to and important for the client, demonstrating respect for the individual by a person-centered approach to treatment. 

Our Staff

Day By Day provides clients the support and skills of a highly trained and educated staff of licensed, certified and qualified professionals including substance abuse counselors, nurse,physician assistants, a psychiatrist, administrative and medical records personnel, and support staff, all of whom seek to model healthy social, coping, communications and other healthy living skills for personal and community development.
